It was in the sport of competitive shooting that I truly found myself.
Words can’t properly express the honor it was to compete at the 2021 4th Annual Memorial 3-Gun Match , but I’m going to try. The Foundation’s mission to honor, remember, and memorialize fallen Special Operations Soldiers and Airmen and support their Gold Star families is the greatest cause. All 10 men we honored in this event's names will live on forever in the hearts minds of all who competed or attended. Hearing their stories, learning who these men were, and meeting their families is truly what sets this event apart. When I’m competing on these stages I imagine these Warriors are there. They are laughing and smiling and enjoying the camaraderie of the competitors and attendees. Even if I have a bad stage, I gather myself up, laugh it off, knowing it’s about them and the spirit of the event that matters. I imaging I’d walk off the stage, good performance or bad and high-five them. 🙂 Events like the Memorial 3-Gun competition bring those that may have never been around the SOF community close. They see just how much loss is experienced year after year for the warriors and the families in the Special Operations umbrella. To everyone who supported this event, thank you for supporting this amazing community. You have all truly made a difference and helped these Gold Star ⭐️ Families. The 2021 Microtech Pro-Am 3-Gun Championship is a wrap! I managed a High Lady Overall finish and was 33rd out of 130 competitors in Tac Ops! It was an excellent match run by an amazing crew! My squad was the bomb! We had the perfect ratio of Pro’s to Am’s and we all had a blast coaching helping others shoot this awesome sport! My Am Jessica Thomas did such an incredible job, I’m so very proud of her! She came so far from the first stage day 1 to the last stage day 3! I can’t wait to see her at the next event and watch her grow in the sport! Oh funny small 🌎 moment, turns out Jessica works at one of our Premier Staccato dealers, but we’d never met! I think the universe partnered us for the event because it knows Staccatos shooters are awesome people! 😋. She was running a 2019 P! How cool is that?! I also got to see my friend and Staccato Ambassador Dave Harris shoot! Give him a follow, he’s one of the best people I know! I truly love matches with this format. I went into this match with no time to train or prep, but knew the format was going to be so fun and a great opportunity to share my passion with someone I’ve never met. It can be challenging a bit as a Pro to find the balance of coaching and ensuring all your gear and plans are good to go too! 😂 It really helps you to grow as a shooter and help others! It really allows you to show your gear and what to use and what works best. I’m so proud to shoot for so many amazing companies and show people how vital good gear is to have a successful event. As a shooter, your gear is good, you only have to focus on shooting well! It’s quite a relief! Haha! Team USA Ladies Open Division! We won silver at the 2018 IPSC World Shotgun Championship!! Heck yeah, what a fantastic way to wrap up the 2020 Shooting Season! Great weekend at Universal Shooting Academy for the Area 6 Multigun Championship! I’m so proud to represent so many extraordinary companies like Benelli, Staccato, Leupold, Safariland, Lone Star Armory, American Trigger, Hayes Custom Guns, Matt Rendar and Taran Tactical. A huge shout out to Shannon Smith, JB Creech and the entire match staff for your hard work and putting on an excellent match! Thank you to Kel-Tec and the many sponsors for your support! Thank you to my amazing squad! We seriously had a great crew and everyone reset quickly and were super fun to shoot with. A very special thanks to Jordan Binion who was embedded with our squad the entire time and such an incredibly supportive RO! The 2020 3rd Annual Memorial 3-Gun Competition is a wrap and what a successful event it was! Over $100k was raised this year, thanks to all the support from the competitors, ambassadors sponsors, donors, fans, staff, volunteers, and Foundation’s board effort. You all should give yourself a pat on the back! For those that don’t know this event unites the military and civilian community in one 3-gun competition that honors our fallen SOF Warriors and supports their Gold Star Families with the proceeds. Each stage is in memory of a fallen Warrior. We begin the stage with a story from their life and then we can read the bio and learn about their service. We then sign the Stage Sign and it is given to the family at the end of the match. Then, before the awards and celebrations, we listen to a representative of each family to learn more about these amazing men who sacrificed all. I promise you, there isn’t a dry eye in the room. #rememberhonormemorialize This is more than a 3-gun match, it’s about unity and never forgetting the sacrifices of the Warriors that protect this Country and their families. Thanks to the love of my life, I call this community home 🏠. It is my hope that events such as this, that we are able to spread to word, ensure that Americans never forget the sacrifices of their SOF Warriors and their families. I took a 3rd Place finish out of a stacked deck of incredible female shooters at the 2020 Texas 3-Gun Championship! Congrats to fellow Benelli teammate Dakota Overland on your Win! Team Benelli's Dianna Muller, Lance Dingler, and Riley Kropff all did amazingly and placed in the top of each division and category! What a joy to spend time outdoors with so many great, gun-toting Americans! This is hands down one of the best matches in the country and one of my favorites! The Reveille Peak Range facility is like none other and the perfect place for an incredible event. Thank you to all the RO’s, Staff, and Aaron and Nikki Hayes Crew that make this event possible. Your hard work and dedication to the success of this event are greatly appreciated! My guns and gear ran flawlessly! They made up for my lack of training the past several months 🤣. Good gear matters, and it helps when your guns are more accurate than you! Now that I’m back in the swing of things, I’ll be sure to make sure my guns stay hot and gear remains worn!
I've shot for Benelli USA for going on 6 years. The Benelli M2 is my shotgun of choice, and up to every challenge I throw at her.
I only run the very best gear from companies that I respect, and make a great product. I shoot Lone Star Armory rifles. I only use Leupold for scopes, red dots, spotting scopes or range finders because they're simply the best and proudly made in the US.
